Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/x)

Your daily tasks will include
☁️ taking responsibility for the stability & scalability of systems running state of the art technology & architecture
☁️ improving the system design and build in reliability & maintainability
☁️ focus on automation (e.g. Python, Go, Java, bash) instead of recurring tasks
☁️ identifying and debugging complex issues in a heterogeneous infrastructure system
☁️ conducting a post-mortem analysis and sharing your findings with other project members
☁️ sporadically traveling to other office locations or customer meetings
☁️ running systems on our DER CLUSTER infrastructure or public cloud (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
☁️ working with open source and cloud native technologies like OpenShift, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Linux & Containers (e.g. Ubuntu, CentOs, Docker), Gitlab, Teamcity, SonarQube, Artifactory, Kafka, ActiveMQ
The following will make you succeed in this role
⭐️ strong desire to learn and affinity for solving challenges together in a team
⭐️ sound communication skills (English) and preferably German
⭐️ strong analytical skills and a hands-on mindset
⭐️ a solid understanding of the tech stack and willingness to fill gaps if necessary
⭐️ experience with continuous integration (CI) tools and container technologies
⭐️ familiarity with at least one of the following topics: Java build tools, such as Gradle in the context of Spring Framework, Hibernate etc., continuous integration and delivery, Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet etc., Cloud Computing (Azure, AWS, Google), Infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform), microservice architecture
