Head of Accounting (m/f/x)

Your daily tasks will include
☁️ preparing and supervising monthly and annual financial statements according to IFRS and UGB
☁️ participating as a project member in the Workday ERP implementation project for accounting
☁️ disciplinary and professional leadership for the Austrian accounting team and actively ensuring the development of employees
☁️ serving as a contact person for external institutions, such as auditors or fiscal authorities
☁️ engaging with departments across the organization, including FP&A and People & Culture, to maintain strategic alignment
The following will make you succeed in this role
⭐️ minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a comparable accounting position
⭐️ knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards (UGB), supported by practical work experience
⭐️ experience with Workday (preferred) or other ERP systems in accounting
⭐️ excellent German and English skills
⭐️ strong understanding of financial processes and ability to work beyond traditional accounting functions to drive strategic financial initiatives
⭐️ collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams and take over responsibilities
