We are currently seeking a highly motivated M&A intern or working student to join our team at Cloudflight. As a leading digital transformation company, Cloudflight is focused on providing innovative solutions to companies across a range of industries. Private Equity-backed by a strong European investor, Cloudflight is pursuing multiple M&A transactions over the coming years.

As M&A intern / working student, you will have the opportunity to be an active part of M&A transactions for European IT Service companies. You will gain hands-on experience in the M&A process, from initial deal origination, due diligence to closing, and work alongside experienced and motivated professionals in the field. You will gain direct insights into the daily business of Private Equity-backed M&A transactions and learn how buy-and-build works.

Your daily tasks will include

☁️ being responsible for sub-processes within the M&A transaction process and supporting our M&A team in the due diligence of potential new investments

☁️ creating relevant transaction documents and Investment Proposals for Executive Board Members and the Private Equity Investor

☁️ performing financials analysis and modelling of target companies

☁️ identifying and analyzing potential markets and companies

☁️ help developing and executing the M&A strategy in building up a M&A pipeline and qualify targets according to our criteria

☁️ support in improving the M&A process

☁️ taking part in meetings with the management of potential targets, M&A advisors and Cloudflight Executives

The following will make you succeed in this role

⭐️ a degree (or current studies) in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering

⭐️ previous experience in M&A/Investment Banking, Private Equity, corporate finance or consulting

⭐️ strong analytical skills and very good financial knowledge

⭐️ you approach things in a structured and independent manner, seek responsibility and challenge classic procedures

⭐️ a strong hands-on-mentality

⭐️ you are looking for a team where your ideas are always welcome and where people support each other

⭐️ German and English on business fluent level
