The Head of People & Culture will be responsible for shaping and implementing our people strategy in Poland. This leadership role requires a strong focus on employee engagement, change management, talent management, and inspirational leadership guiding a cross-functional HR team through all stages of the employee journey. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a proactive, driven approach to align HR initiatives with business objectives, while ensuring our culture evolves to meet the demands of rapid growth.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive People & Culture strategy to maximise local potential and enable strategic growth plans. Leverage HR analytics and employee feedback in taking strategic decisions and driving continuous improvement. Leading a cross-functional P&C team in Poland
- Partner to the Business: Work closely with senior management and department heads to proactively ensure that people strategies and programs are integrated into business planning and operations. Serve as a trusted advisor, offering HR insights that drive business success. Ensuring our talent pipeline is robust and aligned with future business needs through targeted talent management initiatives. This role is a split of a strategic leadership role and an operational business partner
- Cultural Ambassador: Ensuring that company values are deeply embedded in all P&C processes across the employee lifecycle. Inspire leaders and employees to embody these values in their daily work, lead by example. Steering cultural transformation towards a healthy target culture
- Change Management: Lead and manage change initiatives across the organization, including organizational restructuring, and cultural transformation. Communicate change effectively to ensure buy-in and smooth transitions. Make space for open and transparent communication to foster constructive dialogue among colleagues and leaders
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus
- Experience: At least 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years experience in a leadership role, preferably in the IT industry or a similar fast-paced, project-based environment. Nice to have: experience in working with Workday
- Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (Polish + English), with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively across all levels of the organization
- Charismatic & Inspirational Leadership: A natural leader with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence both the P&C team and the wider organization. Capable of driving a positive and performance-oriented culture
- Proactive & Driven: Demonstrates a hands-on, solution-focused approach with a strong drive for results. Ability to anticipate challenges and seize opportunities, ensuring HR is always a step ahead of business needs
- Employee Engagement: Proven track record of designing and implementing successful employee engagement strategies that align with both individual and organisational objectives
- Change Management: Experience in leading organizational change, particularly in contexts of rapid growth or transformation, with an emphasis on fostering resilience and commitment during transitions.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations and the ability to align HR strategy with business goals. Ability to think strategically and act tactically
- Cultural Sensitivity: Experience working in a multicultural environment, with a strong understanding of the Polish labor market and workplace culture
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and measure success
