As Cloudflight’s Vice President of Global Sales for Digital Commerce, you play a pivotal role in driving 50% growth in our Digital Commerce business line by 2028. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to strengthen relationships with existing customers while acquiring new ones. Alongside this, you will lead the commercial relationship with our Digital Commerce clients and guide our Account Executives toward success.
Building and expanding our partnerships with leading commerce companies such as Adobe, Shopify, Commercetools, Spryker, and SAP will also be a key focus. As a passionate team player, you will work closely with the MDs of our Business Units and the Heads of Delivery on account management and identifying cross-selling opportunities. Leading a team of eight sellers, this role reports directly to the Managing Director in Germany, while leveraging the support of our powerful delivery organization of over 150 eCommerce specialists.
Responsibilities
- Account management: Build relationships and grow our business with our >30 existing digital commerce customers. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty, leading to long-term partnerships and a positive customer experience. Be the go-to person and trusted advisor for the commerce executives on the customer side. Prolong and upsell existing projects and identify cross-selling opportunities across our service catalogue
- New business generation: Develop and implement a strong Go-To-Market strategy together with the marketing team for our core regions and beyond. Lead our Account Executives to identify the right prospects and conduct successful outreach and deal qualification. Achieve a new business share of 20% of total revenue and make it the key driver of growth
- Leadership: Shape the strategy for the business line and align it with the overall company’s objectives. Select technologies and services to specialise in and build capacity and capability together with our technical leaders. Continuously identify and leverage emerging trends and technologies to keep Cloudflight at the forefront of the Digital Commerce industry, adapting sales strategies to meet evolving market demands
- Partnerships: Position Cloudflight with commerce technology leaders such as Adobe, Shopify, Spryker, Commercetools and SAP. Leverage partnerships to explore co-sell and co-development opportunities and penetrate new markets, ensuring mutual growth and success
- Evangelism: Build and maintain a strong personal and company presence within the Digital Commerce community through networking and participation in key industry events. Participate as a speaker or panelist. Drive thought leadership through content. Be the CLF representative on social media, especially LinkedIn. Inspire customers and talent alike
Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferably in computer science, possibly business administration
- Excellent leadership skills, experience in managing sales teams across multiple geographies
- Expertise and established relationships with Digital Commerce tech partners
- Large and existing network of potential customers in the DACH region
- Strong understanding of emerging DC technologies and platforms and their business implications
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Full command of German and English
