Responsibilities
- Having responsibility for Projects Portfolio in aspects of portfolio planning, execution and reporting
- Leading a team of (Senior) Project Managers, supporting them,providing regular feedback and guidance
- Maintaining a relationship with Key Customers throughout the life cycle of the projects
- Participating in Steering Committee meetings
- Being the first line of response on the escalation path with Clients and managing project delivery issues early on
- Negotiating contract terms that go beyond the competence of a project manager
- Driving best practices, making sure best-in-class project management skills and techniques are applied consistently throughout the department
- Delivering regular updates and insights to the Director and Senior Management on the state of the project portfolio
- Building knowledge-sharing & mentoring programs for PMs
- Bringing positive change vibe & improvements to our organization
- Collaborating with HRBP and Client Partner
Qualifications
- Have experience in a similar role at managerial level with end-to-end responsibility for projects (scope, team, budget, delivery, reporting)
- Have at least 6 years of experience in running IT projects (preferably e-commerce) as a Project Manager and a total of 8+ years in software development area
- Have practical knowledge of the management methodologies including Agile and traditional approaches
- Understand the SDLC end-to-end on a suitable level including knowledge of development and QA best practices
- Have hands-on experience with software delivery as a part of the delivery team (developer, QA, BA etc.)
- You are able to plan and organize the work of a distributed team
- Easily establish business connections
- Have very good communication and negotiation skills
- Are an inspiration for people and understand them well
- Are proactive, you like to take the initiative, willingly take on new challenges, and want to develop
- Speak English and Polish fluently (at least C1)
